FLO THE BARISTA
Florian-Emmanuel Christophe Pelabon (so we call him Flo for short) is originally from France.
Over six years ago in San Diego, he met a Kiwi chick called Leanne. She bought him back to New Zealand and took him on a surfing tour around the country. Well needless to say he fell in love, with the country and the girl! He married both and the rest is history.
Lucky for you, because Flo has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry and a huge passion for great coffee. And when the French are passionate about something they deliver the very best!
LEANNE THE OTHER HALF
Leanne handles the day to day running of the business, booking events and generally making sure everything runs smoothly. Her passion is for the environment and is working hard to ensure the business is working in a sustainable manner.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL PHILOSOPHY
At The Flaming Frog we aim to be a carbon zero, sustainable business - treading carefully on our environment and supporting other local businesses.
We believe that all businesses have a responsibility to protect our environment by working in a sustainable manner. Our planet deserves our greatest respect, we must take only what we need and replace those valuable resources where we can.
At The Flaming Frog:
Our coffee, milk, sugar & drinking chocolate are all certifie
d organic and with the exception of our milk are all fair trade certified products
Our coffee cups are biodegradable & compostable
We offer a 50 cent discount if you provide your own cup
We recycle our plastic milk bottles, paper and cardboard
We compost our used coffee grains, or provide free on request to our customers to use for their own gardens!
Our customers are also welcome to return their used coffee cups & lids and we will ensure they are composted/recycled.
Although this is all great stuff, we still realise we have a way to go before becoming a completely sustainable business and will be constantly working on reducing our carbon footprint.
